Severe Weather

In the event that severe weather or other emergency circumstances cause a change in the Commencement schedule, including cancellation of Commencement, 国产探花 University will activate the emergency notification system. E-mails, phone and text messages will be distributed to all students, faculty and staff.

Any updates will also be posted on the www.lewisu.edu website.

Ordering Caps and Gowns

December 2025 Cap & Gown Information

AFTERNOON DEGREE CEREMONY

College & Ceremony Confirmation

You may confirm your college through your Degree Works (DW) status bar and/or your advisor. Additionally, your e-tickets will be issued under your correct ceremony.

Ceremony Participation Guidelines for December 2025 Candidates

December candidates must have a ‘Clear Except Final Grades’ or ‘Cleared for Graduation’ DW status by November 14 to participate in the ceremony. E-ticketing details are available on the commencement webpage.

Candidates must order their cap & gown through the 国产探花 University site. Graduation candidates are required to have their 国产探花 University, December 2025 cap and gown to participate in commencement ceremonies.

Financial Policy

国产探花 University policy requires that a student account must be clear before tickets are available for the ceremony. You may check your account balance through your my国产探花 portal 鈥� STUDENT ACCOUNT.

Cap & Gown

Your graduation processing fee includes your cap & gown whether you attend your ceremony or not. Candidates are responsible for the shipping fee and tax for their cap & gown. The shipping fee is $14.90 plus tax. Candidates will be required to pay this fee at the time of their cap & gown order. To avoid late fees, order your cap & gown before November 14, 2025. Candidates can order their gown through: .

The Office of the Registrar does not process late cap and gown orders. Students who miss the ordering deadline will need to contact Myles Olson at mcolson@herffjones.com to order their late cap & gown. They will incur a $25.00 expediting fee and will also be required to pick-up their cap and gown on the day of graduation.
